What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password at any time, simply go to the Membership sign-in page and click on the Can't Remember Your Password? Click Here link. Once you have you have entered your email address, click the SEND MY PASSWORD button. Your store password will then be sent to the email address entered. This will allow you to access your account immediately and place an order if you choose.

How do I know that my order went through?

When an order goes through successfully, a thank you screen will be shown with your order and reference number displaying the billing and shipping addresses, the subtotal of your order including all appropriate shipping and handling charges and the items selected for purchase.

Order Tracking

How will I be able to track my order?

All our customers will be given a tracking number for all orders that were placed through our UPS carrier. This tracking number will be given to you, through your email address, after your order has been shipped . If you need to track your order and you did not receive your tracking number after three (3) to four(4) business days, please contact us at: sales@overstockretail.com and we will send you this number. You can then use this number at our Site to track your order. Go to the left hand column at our storefront below the Department section or go to the bottom of the web page to the Shopping Helper section and type in your number, then click the GO button.

Gift Certificates

How do I purchase a Gift Certificate?

Go to the Gift certificate section of the store and click on the price amount you want. This check out process is similar to purchasing an item online. You can add it to your Shopping Cart and continue with the check out process if, you are through shopping.

Terms and Conditions of Gift Certificates

The balance due on an order during checkout, that exceeds the gift certificate amount must be paid by your credit card.

Gift certificates do not have an expiration date.

Gift certificates do not carry balances. Therefore, you must spend the full balance on your order or forfeit the remaining balance.

Gift certificates are non-transferable.

Gift Certificate codes can only be applied toward purchasing of items at our Site. They cannot be applied against Shipping and Handling, taxes, or be redeemed for cash.

What are coupon codes?

This is a code (which may include letters and/or numbers) made and provided by us, entitling the holder to a discount on a product or a quantity of products. This code can be for all products in the store or for a specific product (s) at a given time.

Coupons Codes Terms of Use.

This is similar to the Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions except that they:

  • All have an expired date.
  • Coupons cannot be used to purchase gift certificates.

How will the coupon code be used in the calculation of an order?

The coupon amount will be subtracted from your total purchase in the shopping card and do not include shipping and applicable sales tax.

What is a Shopping Cart?

This is an online cart that holds your merchandise while shopping. It holds everything you have decided to purchase while shopping with us. You can view the items you have added to your cart simply by clicking on the "Shopping Cart" tab at the top of every page and at the bottom at the VIEW CART at the My Account section. View Cart is the same thing as a Shopping Cart they are sometimes used interchangeably.

Using The Keyword Search Tab

To initiate a search, first you will need to select a Search Keyword box. Keyword Search boxes can be found at the top of the red button bar and to the top left hand corner of the column. Enter a keyword using any combination of product name or type of product or item number. Using more than one keyword will narrow the results to products that each match all of the keywords you enter. The red Keyword button will give you the option of limiting or narrowing down your search to a specific number. Item number search can come in very handy if you already know the number of the item from your Catalog. This can tremendously speed up your shopping purchase -- you can find an item to purchase or to add to your Shopping Cart right away!

Sending Emails

Why don’t I get a response to my Email?/ I did not receive a confirmation Email for my order, why?

If you have not received a response from us or a confirmation email for your orders then, it is possible that your browser setting or your internet service provider is blocking our email replies. This can be corrected by adjusting the email filter on your browser setting or by contacting your internet service provider for support.

If you use email addresses such as hotmail or yahoo and are not receiving email then, it is possible that your emails are going into your junk email list. This is caused by your junk e-mail filters that filters or block emails that are not on your contact list. You will need to adjust the setting on your email to accept email from us. This will sometimes happen to legitimate emails sent to you so, it is always wise to add us to your email contact address so that emails are not blocked or sent to junk email list.

How does this work?

If a customer comes across an advertised exact same product that we sell (and have in stock), we will match a better price offer that reduces its price by up to 5 percent to meet a reseller’s offer for, such product being offered. Please note that certain Price Matching applies. We will sent you a coupon code for the better price via your email when you are ready to make a purchase from us. If the coupon code is not used within 24 hours, then it will become invalid.

This better price match is limited to the quantity of items purchased per person, per household or per order. Additional claims per person, per household or per order after this order, will only be accepted after 90 days.

I already have an additional code from your sales promotion, how will I be able to use both coupon codes?/ I have a Gift certificate how can I take advantage of this additional discount code?

You will need to email us with all your personal information and the two valid codes that you have. We will send you a new code that incorporate both codes. You must however, use this new code within 24 hours since, you add the price Matching code to the other code that you possess. If you fail to do so, your new codes as well as the old codes will be invalid. Please be aware that after you receive your new code, all the old codes you requested to be incorporated as one, will be invalid immediately.

1. This only applies to individual purchases and not for Purchasing large quantities of similar items. The maximum on such offer is five items.

2. Resellers and wholesale purchases are not eligible to participate in this program.

3. Only fixed price offers qualify; offers from auction sites, e.g. eBay, are excluded. This program applies to all offers from any reseller store or website offering.

4. If the better price offer qualifies for this program, Overstockretail.com will match the price of the products set out in the better price offer, but not other terms such as shipping costs, delivery method, return privileges or the like.

5. We will not match better price offers that you submit after placing your order with us.

6. The better price offer must still be open when you present it to us.

7. All Price Matching codes as well as, incorporated new codes, will be invalid after it is sent to out within 24 hours.

8. If we conclude the better price offer is not authentic, still open or available, we reserve the right to exclude the offer from this program.

9. Special offers or promotions do not qualify which includes but not limited to sale prices, free offers with purchase, coupon discount offers, quantity discounts, rebate offers etc.

10. Only online stores in the US are qualified for our price matching.

11. If the item price is less than $25 you will need to exceed this your total order by purchasing up to an amount that will exceed this price. This can be done through multiple( five the maximum) purchasing of the same item or by purchasing other products from our website. If the items reaches a maximum of 5 items and it still doesn’t exceed the $25 mark then you will have to purchase an additional item from our store to remedy this.

12. Prices are matched only in US currency.

13. Products must be in exactly the same model, condition and new with applicable manufacturer's warranty available. Better price offers for refurbished, out of stock, discontinued, used or for products from other stores do not qualify for this program.

14. Product must be available for sale and delivery that day.

Before you enter our Name Brand Store we suggest you Checkout any items already in your Overstockretail.com cart before proceeding. This is important since both stores uses its own shopping cart system. You cannot purchase from both stores under one order.

How do I place an order?

When you have found an item that you would like to purchase, follow the following steps:

  • Click on the image of the item or the name of the item.
  • If you need more than one item click the arrow below the heading “ORDER QUANTITY” and click on the number of quantity of that item you need to purchase.
  • Click the ADD TO CART button.
  • Here, you will have four(4) options:
  • If you need to remove an item from your shopping cart, change the quantity to zero and then click the "Update Shopping Cart" button.
  • You may change the quantity of any item in your cart using the same method.
  • If you want to empty the shopping cart and start over then you need to click the EMPTY SHOPPING CART AND START OVER link text.
  • If you want to continue your shopping so that you can add more items to your shopping cart, then click the GO BACK TO SHOPPING button. If you need to checkout click the CHECK OUT! Text link.

How do I edit my order?

Shopping Cart

  • When all the items you need have appeared in your shopping cart click the CHECKOUT! link.
  • If however there is something in your cart that you would like to edit, there are two ways for this:
    • Multiple Order of the same item: click the arrow beside the item and change the quantity number by clicking the item number that suits you in the column and then click the UPDATE SHOPPING CART button . You can choose up to 24 quantities of the same item.
    • To clear your Shopping Cart: Click the arrow button and change the quantity to zero then click the "Update Shopping Cart" button. You may change the quantity of any item in your cart using the same method.

On the review page, please review your order. If everything is correct, click the CONTINUE button to enter your PayPal Account information. If the information is not correct, use your browser's BACK button to go back and make corrections.

How do I cancel an order?

Once an order is placed online (and you have checked out to the receipt confirmation thank you page) it is automatically processed by our Merchant Account Provider and our Warehouse is then immediately notified of the order for shipment. Once this happens, a cancellation cannot be stopped at this stage. For Mail Orders, cancellation might be possible since, it will take a few days before it reaches us. Again, if this is processed then your only option from here is to follow our Return Policy.

Nevertheless, contact us immediately so that we are aware of such a situation. This doesn’t mean that we guarantee or warrant any cancellation. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you.

Can I ship my order to a P.O. Box?

Yes you can. To ship to a PO Box, the item ordered must be shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS). All other shipping of items ordered, will be done through UPS or DHL for Rush Delivery (if requested). UPS does not deliver to P.O Boxes and must have a have a physical address for delivery.

Why do we charge a restocking fee of 20%?

This is what our supplier will charge us to restock the item back into their warehouse. Therefore, since it is not a defective item we will have to pass this cost over to you. We can not absorb non-defective item restocking fee because we would be operating at a lost and would be out of business quickly! We are sorry about this and you should therefore take great care of selecting an item that you will definitely want.

Depends. It will not cost you anything if it was sent by error or it was defective. We will issue a call tag and have UPS pick up your package at no charge to you.

Yes. For all merchandise purchase online, you will receive an automatic email order confirmation. This confirmation email will be sent only to the email address that you provided us with during the checking out process. It is important that you enter your email address correctly to ensure that you receive your order confirmation. If you are a regular customer, please make sure you update your email address in your Member Account if there is any changes to your email address.

Why haven’t I received my order?

This could be due to more than one reasons:

1. The carrier (UPS) may have returned the product ordered because no one was home after three attempts were made.

2. Your shipping (delivery) address is a Post Office Box. You must remember at all times that UPS does not deliver to P.O Boxes.

3. Product may have been lost during the delivery process. Make sure you make use of our tracking system provided on our storefront. The chances of this happening is very rare but, If it seems that a lost shipment might have occurred, please read our Return and Shipping Policy and contact us immediately. Please remember to provide us your full name, name of the product, product number, reference number, the date of purchase, the type of shipment use and your shipping address.

4. Orders placed during special holidays such as Christmas, may take a longer time to reach you because of the heavy shipping demands around this time.

5. You have moved and it went to a former address and it had to be returned or someone may have signed for it. That’s why it is important to keep your store Account Information up to date and make sure that if you move after placing the order, you make arrangement with someone trustworthy to collect your product.

6. Climatic conditions that may due to heavy rain and flooding in certain section of the country or state.

Note: We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undelivered. We will refund you your money (excluding shipping charges) for the item purchased by providing a store coupon credit or send you your refund directly. If you would however, still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place another order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days of receipt (M-F).The delivery time taken will depend on the shipping service you have chosen and your delivery location. See our map for an estimate delivery time. Shopping online orders can take up to a maximum waiting period of 7 to 14 business days which again, depends on the factors mentioned above. After 3 business days, if your carrier is UPS then, you will be able to track your order at our store, using the number we send you after the item has been shipped. If DHL (Rush Delivery) is the shipper then, the time is usually 3 to 4 Business Days.

It is also important to note that during the Holidays season e.g. Christmas, additional time may be needed, due to heavy shipping demands around this busy time of the year.

What should I do if I have not received my order?

If you shop online and did not receive your order after waiting for 15 business days, please to contact us at sales@overstockretail.com or call us. If however, you use our Mail Order method, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. This holds true especially for payment by personal check. Your order will not be process until your check is cleared by the bank. If however, you pay using your Credit card or Money Order, this will be processed right away and is therefore, possible for you to receive your order much quicker.
